LDA Partners was hired by Schenone Specialty Foods to design a new manufacturing and visitor’s center for Chocholics Fine Desserts. The design team converted an existing 2-story historic brick building on site to house the visitor’s center. The team also added a pre-engineered steel building to house a new manufacturing facility, featuring “chocolate” colored ribbed siding patterns. The design solution is visitor focused – allowing for a walking tour of the chocolate manufacturing processes and includes an exterior plaza and small amphitheater to host events.
