This new 9,500 SF, single-story office building shell was the second phase of a development located in an industrial portion of Stockton. The initial phase of development was a 28,000 SF office for the State of California Department of Corrections. The future third phase, a three-story 35,000 SF office building, is targeted to house another government agency.
The phase II design continued the Phase I development style including bold colors and materials. The extensive use of ribbed metal siding, exterior shade devices, and energy efficient glazing incorporates many aspects of sustainable design. It also continues the City of Stockton’s redevelopment program as a signature component of the enhanced waterfront.
